How to use Havu- ja rodolannoite in a vase?

Hi, I am recommended to use Conifer and rhodolannoite for our plants attached to this message. I need to know how much of coniferous and rhododendron should be used in the vase? Should the whole soil be replaced by coniferous and rhododendron fertilizer? or should it be put just at the top of the soil?

  • Hello there!

You can use the nutrients for havu- and rododendron for your Arucaria heterophylla, but you can also use completely normal soil and nutrients for green plants. There's no need to replace the soil completely, but if you feel like it's time to repot, you can use havu- and rodo soil (or soil for green plats). It's good to add nutrients during the time of the year the plant is growing. Follow the dosage instructions on the can. If you're unsure, it's better to add too little than too much.

Looks like your plants are potted in a pot without drainage. It's always better to have a pot with holes in it. This is easily done by using a plastic insert pot inside the decor pot. This way, you can always pour out the excess water and minimize the risk of overwatering.

Hope this answers your question. Have a good day!
